Convert between formats without installing anything — images, documents, data, units, and more. Everything runs in your browser unless noted, so your files stay on your device.

Converting a file rewrites the same information using a different set of rules, and what survives depends on how close those rules are. Moving a photo between JPG, PNG, and WebP re-encodes the pixels, so quality can drop if the target format is lossy, and transparency disappears when you convert to JPG, which has no concept of it. Converting data between JSON, YAML, CSV, and XML rearranges structure rather than content, but formats differ in what they can express, so nested data flattened into CSV loses its shape. Unit and number-base conversions are pure arithmetic and lose nothing at all. Nearly every converter here runs in your browser, so files are not uploaded and there is no size ceiling beyond your device's memory. Excel to CSV and the two HEIC converters are the exceptions and run on our server, because those formats need libraries browsers do not include.
Almost all of them run entirely in your browser, including every image-format, text, data, and unit converter, so those files never leave your device. The exceptions are Excel to CSV and the two HEIC converters, which need a server library; those files are sent over an encrypted connection, converted, and deleted straight after.
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and HEIC, plus resizing, compression, and OCR. Everything except HEIC is converted in your browser; HEIC is handled on our server, because decoding Apple's format needs a library browsers do not ship.
