Roll virtual dice — d4 to d20.
Updated
Roll virtual dice for board games, D&D, or any decision. Choose how many dice and how many sides (d4 through d20) and see every result plus the total. Runs entirely in your browser.
Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
An online dice roller replaces physical dice with numbers your browser generates, which is handy when dice are lost, when you are playing over a call, or when you need more dice than you own. This one rolls between 1 and 12 dice at once, in six standard sizes: four, six, eight, ten, twelve, and twenty sides. Six-sided dice are drawn with real pip faces and the rest show numerals, and a total appears underneath whenever you roll more than one. Each die is generated independently by your browser's standard random number function, which is designed for even distribution across all faces and is fine for board games and tabletop play, though it is not the cryptographic kind used for security. Everything happens on your device with nothing sent anywhere. Results are not kept between rolls, so there is no running history or tally.
Standard polyhedral dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20 — roll up to 12 at once.
Each die is generated independently by your browser's built-in random number function, which distributes results evenly across every face, so no number is favoured. It is a standard pseudorandom generator rather than the cryptographic kind, which is the right tool for games but not something to use where security depends on it.
No. Each roll replaces the last, so there is no log, running total, or per-face tally across rolls. The total shown applies only to the dice currently on screen, and only when more than one die was rolled.
